Let me first start by saying that I hope that you are all well, healthy and safe!
What a year this 2020 has been so far.. as the clock strikes 12 on New Years Eve, and everyone is praying and hoping that the new year will be better than the last, wishes of better health, better financial situations, better everything... yet, here we are.
I'm not quite sure what to think about this so called Covid-19 Virus. There are so many theories circulating over the net. I for one do not believe the issue came from the Chinese eating bats. The reason I conclude this, is because, they have been doing so for so many centuries, so why would this virus emerge now? In addition to this, I have issues with the so called 'predictions' that were made by Mr Bill Gates, so accurate in his words, descriptions, his facial expressions and body language, it all seems a bit suspect to me. Did he mention 'intentional viruses'..?! intended for what exactly? One could conclude whole heartily, maybe this is some kind of depopulation project? why else would they be intentional? yes, this may seem far fetched to some, but how do you doubt something that someone actually spoke out of their own mouth and admitted? Let that part sink in... then we can continue.
Without going too deep on the reasons why or how... I want to address human beings as a whole.
This situation is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC... Covid - 19 is certainly a very nasty virus. It has already sadly killed many people worldwide. Italy has been devastated by the amount of people infected and killed. Spain also has a large number to date of people infected ans killed. China appear to be saying that after their lockdown their numbers have been reduced. I am not sure about the figures we are being fed as a whole, I genuinely believe that they have been manipulated.
This whole scenario is like an actual nightmare. It is surreal to comprehend let alone be living it. Being told that we must all remain isolated in our homes for maybe up to 6 months to save lives. This damn virus is spreading like wild fire. The pandemonium it is causing, health issues, death, fear, worry, loss of jobs, homes, uncertainty of the future, children off schools, everyone living in total fear for their futures. what the HELL IS THIS?? it feels like a movie.
Not only do we as human beings now have to worry about whether we will catch this evil virus, we have to worry about if we will be able to fight it off and survive!.. Then there is the depression, low mood, feelings of sadness, loneliness, isolation, and mental health worries that come along with this.. being isolated at home and totally restricted can play havoc with the mind. Especially for those who already suffer with anxiety, low mood and depression. There are children in vulnerable situations, and women locked up with abusive partners. There are the elderly who are deemed very high risk isolated alone. How do parents keep their kids home bound for months and remain sane calm and stable? People are clearing the shelves in the supermarkets to hibernate in their homes and leaving others without food. Is this really happening? this is whole situation is incredibly bizarre.
This Covid-19, the 'gift' that keeps giving.
So let me conclude by saying, despite this nightmare situation we are ALL faced with, there are, believe it or not, some positives that we can take away with us.
First and foremost, we are ALL in the same boat. Yep, this thing does not discriminate. Rich or poor, black or white, Muslim, Christian, Jew, or Athiest, tall, short, popular or unpopular, kind or evil, we are all at risk.
WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER... for once this statement is a FACT.
So, this Virus, can teach us that:
Life is PRECIOUS.
Life is short and tomorrow is never promised or guarenteed.
Your health is YOUR WEALTH.
Appreciate your friends and families.
Value your freedom of movement.
Don't invest precious time on things and people who do not matter.
Look after yourself.
Look after others and be kind.
Greed is an issue we have to control and let go off.
Social media is a tool we can use for positive things, i.e reaching out to others whether we know them personally or not and checking to see if they are ok. This not only helps them, but makes you feel better about yourself. i.e doing good deeds.
Caring for our environment, nature and our communities.
Respecting one another, especially the elderly.
I walked through the park today (as exercise is permissible, but keeping social distance is a must), and I noticed it felt eerie but somewhat beautiful. People smiled from a distance. People connected on another level. People gave each other that knowing look, that WE are all in this together. It was an amazing feeling of sadness yet solidarity, a feeling of unity.
I am praying that the world will overcome this horrendous hurdle sooner rather than later and that we can all continue to live our lives on this earth peacefully, healthily and happily. We can return to our normal routines and look forward to a brighter safer future. I am also sending condolences to all those who sadly lost loved ones to this evil virus, which robs people of their precious lives so quickly, may they rest in eternal peace. May those who are affected heal quickly and be able to return to normailty speedily.
Stay safe...Peace x
