The topic that was being discussed on the news, was indeed the Charlie Hebdo Magazine by News Reader Eamonn Holmes and he made a comment that had me clapping.. cheering and dancing around the room. It was a comment that actually MADE SENSE... it was a comment that was fair, respectful, true and considerate. It was something that I found extremely refreshing and I was so glad that he had said it.
He said something along the lines of: Is it fair to publish this cartoon of the Prophet when it offends ALL Muslims. He also said that he found that this particular edition DID NOT move him. He thought it would be more about those that died in the unfortunate events.. but it's more focussing on the cartoons etc...
Now honestly... THIS HAD TO BE SAID.... and I dont care how many MILLIONS of you sheep are out there... the fact is... its utterly disgraceful, disrespectful an offensive to those that they mock. Islam does NOT have images of the prophets and thus this is just stirring the pot up further. And I do hope that Eamonn Holmes is praised for his comment and NOT ostracised!!!
I think this magazine is pure provocation..
I tweeted Eamonn Holmes to thank him for his beautiful comment and he tweeted me back... very grateful. Thank you
